Saturday, May 4th was a special night to honor our SCAA Scholar Athletes. These are the seniors that have excelled not just in their respective sports, but also academically. Students from all of the SCAA high schools were honored at a program held at Johnny T's in Hillsdale, MI. To be selected for this award, students have to meet all of the following criteria:
- A minimum of a 3.2 cumulative GPA
- Earn a varsity letter as a senior year
- Must accumulate at least two varsity letters in one sport of a total of four letters in all sports
- Be recommended by home school athletic staff
Tekonsha had six different students honored: Alyssa Aldrich, Emmitt Blashfield, Lydia Blashfield, Carissa Shedd, Ashton White, and Abigail Wrobel.
