Students at Tekonsha High School got a valuable lesson on the dangers of driving while impaired with a visit from the Arrive Alive program on Friday, May 19.

UNITE’s Arrive Alive Tour® is the nation’s number-one ranked drunk and distracted driving awareness event, as well as the first-and-only marijuana driving simulator in the country. The Arrive Alive Tour uses a high-tech, state-of-the-art simulator that allows

participants to drive while distracted, drunk, or drugged in a fully functioning vehicle without moving or being impaired. The simulator allows participants to experience the real-life dangers without the real life consequences.

UNITE's Arrive Alive Tour is sponsored by Michigan OHSP, the Transportation Improvement Association, and Farm Bureau of Michigan to bring this life changing event to Tekonsha High School. The mission is to change these dangerous driving behaviors and save lives.

UNITE's Arrive Alive Tour and Michigan OHSP have partnered to launch The Arrive Alive Safe Driving Campaign throughout the state of Michigan. The goal is to educate teens on the dangers of distracted, drunk, and drugged driving to help keep the roads of Michigan safe.
