Another Minigrant for the Music Department!

We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Ashley Hall has been awarded a $750 minigrant from the Marshall Community Credit Union to purchase another large xylophone for her elementary music classroom. When Mrs. Hall first started, the classroom had two of these xylophone for all students to use. Earlier this year, Mrs. Hall was awarded a CISD/Binda Foundation Minigrant to purchase another one. This additional grant funding will help to purchase another one! Mrs. Hall commented, "With only two xylophones, depending on the key of the song, only 2-4 students can perform at any given time. With the addition of the two new xylophones, we will be able to have more students performing at one time, giving more students the opportunity to perform during a class period."
