There was a full crowd of parents, community members, and students that showed up to support the Tekonsha High School Volleyball Dig Pink event on Thursday, October 5. To help raise money for the Side-Out Foundation, which helps support breast cancer research, team members sold special Dig Pink t-shirts, bracelets, and sold tickets for the "Best Seat in the House." At the beginning of the varsity game, the winning ticket was drawn and the winner was Tekonsha High School teacher, Mrs. Krista Groholske! She enjoyed the game from a special chair on the stage, with a pizza and concessions cash to spend! Mrs. Groholske generously shared her winning pizza with student fans! It was a great night for the varsity team, as they walked away with a victory over Bellevue.
