Our 10th graders spent the afternoon touring the Calhoun Area Career Center (CACC) on Monday, February 5th. The CACC is a Career and Technical Education center located in Battle Creek and part of the Calhoun Intermediate School District. They offer twenty programs in six career pathways, serving students from all over Calhoun County. Students have the opportunity to attend the CACC during their junior and senior year, to pursue a particular career path with specialized or technical training. Our sophomores enjoyed a chance to tour the facilities and visit various programs of interest, to help them make a decision for scheduling next year. Their tour also included some hands-on demonstrations of welding, arrest techniques, and emergency medical treatment.
