Welcome, Mr. Dean - Our New Math Teacher!!!

Tekonsha Community Schools is excited to welcome Mr. Torrance Dean to our secondary staff! He will be the new MS/HS math teacher beginning with second semester! Mr. Dean is currently in the process of completing his degree in secondary math education. Originally from Indiana, Mr. Dean first started pursing his teaching degree in math before life took him down a different path into business and industry. However, he felt the draw back to education, and picked up where he left off to finish becoming a teacher! Mr. Dean currently lives in Hanover with his wife and two children. He is very excited to be joining us as the teacher in January. He has been spending time this last week in the classroom, getting to know students, support them as they finish their first semester work, and planning for a successful start after the first of the year. He said that he most looks forward to "getting to change lives" and that he looks forward to seeing students "get excited about school and their education."
