Tekonsha has two new bus drivers helping to transport our students.
Ms. Priscilla Iden is a full-time driver, taking over Mr. Sutton's route since Mr. Sutton has become the Transportation Supervisor. Ms. Iden comes to us with nine years of driving experience, having driven in Traverse City, Gull Lake, and for Dean Transportation. She recently moved to the Tekonsha community and was looking for a driving position closer to home! Ms. Iden is also working a few hours to help with lunch service in the kitchen.
Mr. Tim Haidl is our other new driver, helping with some of our evening athletic runs. Mr. Haidl has previously driven for Dean Transportation and Colon Schools. Driving is a side job to his full time position working for the government, and he feels it is a good way to give back to a community. We are thrilled to have these new faces helping with our student transportation!
