Experiencing Michigan History

Tekonsha Elementary 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students enjoyed a class field trip to visit the Michigan State Capitol and the Michigan History Museum on Friday, April 12. They learned in the museum that Michigan passed its first law requiring children to attend school in 1871! Based on the smiles, they had a great day!!
