Students at Tekonsha Elementary School celebrated Fire Safety Week last week with a variety of activities, including watching cooking safety videos, online games, and a visit from the Tekonsha Fire Department! Tekonsha Fire Chief Daryl Cummins did presentations for each elementary class, explaining about not just fire safety, but also what the firefighters and fire truck can do to help in an emergency. Students even got to get inside the truck! Thank you to Chief Cummins for educating our students!!
