MyLead Students Present to Research Club

THS juniors Preston Pombier and Vayda Nyland presented to the Tekonsha GFWC Research Club on Monday, September 11 about their experiences attending the MyLead conference this past summer. MyLead is a leadership training conference held at Michigan State University. Students from all over the state participate in group activities, key note speakers, and break-out learning sessions. Both students shared that this was a very valuable learning experience and that they hope to return to MyLead next year to volunteer as helpers! Funding to attend MyLead was provided by the GFWC Research Club and a College and Career Readiness Grant from the CISD.
