Taking Art to New Depths!

Students in Mrs. Aryn Henry's 2nd grade art class had a chance to see how using real life inspiration in nature can lead to beautiful art! Students spent some time exploring outside, looking at flowers, grass, spiders, and other insects under a magnifying glass. As students did their exploration, they talked about the layering of colors in the things that they were seeing, and how they could replicate this in their own artwork. Then they went back into the classroom and added this new depth and dimension to their art!
