On Saturday, December 7, the Tekonsha Marching Band suited up to march in the Tekonsha Christmas Parade! After marching down Main Street, the band helped kick off the tree lighting in Durham Park with a medley of Christmas favorites. Tekonsha students also were present at the Tekonsha Christmas Walk with a bake sale booth, in which all proceeds benefit the class accounts for high school classes. Student athletes helped man a booth for the Tekonsha Athletic Boosters, offering gift wrapping services to people purchasing items at the craft fair. A Tekonsha "grinch" was also caught handing out onions!
