The Tekonsha Robotics Team: T-Town Tech has been busy working every free moment preparing for their first competition of the season, scheduled for March 1-2 at Battle Creek Central High School. Each year is a new challenge, so the team has to customize their robot to make sure that they can not only complete the challenge, but maximize the points they can earn and ways they can contribute to their alliances.
The team is also still actively seeking sponsorships. The team was recently awarded $4598 for the MDE 99h Robotics Competition Grant. but they are still looking for corporate and individual sponsors that want to support their work. Our elementary cheer clinic was Saturday morning, and when they finished they got to come down and check out our robotics team practicing! We love our small school!
