On Tuesday, September 30th, Tekonsha Elementary 4th graders enjoyed a trip to Hayes State Park on Wamplers Lake in Onsted, MI. this was part of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources "Nature Awaits" program. This program is designed to get all Michigan 4th graders a visit to their closest state park. Students enjoyed a nature hike and educational program where they learned about invasive species, climate change, water cycle, and leaves and needles. It was a beautiful day to explore the great outdoors in Michigan!
