Tekonsha Elementary students had fun on Tuesday, September 9 with a visit from author and illustrator Laura Loveberry! With her puppet Artie, Mrs. Loveberry shared about being creative using lots of humor and color! Students enjoyed seeing caricatures of their teachers and also watching Mr. Wynne and Mr. Orns become a live action Artie!
Later that evening, Mrs. Loveberry did an encore book presentation to students and their parents. Shout out to Josh Waid for being a good sport to be her live action Artie for the evening program!
Each student also received one of Mrs. Loveberry's books, with tips on how to draw caricatures! Thank you to the Tekonsha PTO for providing these books to our students!
