Thursday, February 26th was the Calhoun Area Career Center (CACC) Student Showcase! It’s always exciting to see our kids in action in their various programs. Students demonstrated how to safely use handcuffs and administer a sobriety test in their Law Enforcement program; how to spray paint primer on a car in Collision Repair; how to grow plants from cuttings in Ag Science; the various print methods in Graphic Design; using welding to make art; and so much more! Many of our students were at KCC for classes or were out at a work placement, but we tried to get a sampling of our awesome Tekonsha students! February was National Career and Technical Education Month. Tekonsha Schools is proud to be a partner with the CACC to provide so many diverse career educational opportunities to our students!
