“Class of 2020 Cruise Through Tekonsha”

Sunday, May 24th at 2:00 pm

In recognition of our graduates we would like to invite the

Community to line the streets and cheer as the senior class

Cruises through town.  Please remember to practice social

Distancing as we congratulate and honor these students. We will be traveling on Main, Elm, Jackson, Church and Catherine Streets.

Hope to see everyone out!

This event will not replace our traditional graduation ceremony.

We are planning to host that at a later date once permissible.

Tekonsha High Schools plans to have a traditional graduation ceremony for the Class of 2020. We are unsure of the date at this time due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Once it is safe for us to gather, we will choose a date and let everyone know. We are proud of the accomplishments of these students and look forward to hosting this event. Please understand the situation and keep looking for more information.

Some parents may have received text messages or emails from teachers asking them to sign up for the Remind app. We encourage you to do this. It is a free app that the middle school/high school teachers will be using to communicate with the students for the remainder of this school year. The elementary teachers are using a program called DoJo to communicate with their students. If you are an elementary parent and you have not signed up for it, please contact your student's teacher. Tekonsha Schools educational plan will be fully implemented beginning Monday April 20th.

The Tekonsha Board of Education May meeting has been postponed until June, on a date to be determined, and will be held virtually if needed.  Additional information will be posted on our website, www.tekonshaschools.org, as soon as it becomes available.
